Dear Model Families,
As Educator Appreciation Week comes to a close, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you who have generously shown support and appreciation to our dedicated faculty and staff not only this week but throughout the entire year.
A big thank you to all who gave on EKU Giving Day! Your generosity directly contributes to the advancement of our students through initiatives such as the Model's Future Educators Fund, athletics, and program enhancements. We appreciate all donors for investing in our world-class students.
With only two weeks remaining in the school year, there is still much to do and to experience together. I invite you to join us at the various upcoming ceremonies and events as we honor and celebrate our students and their achievements. Additionally, the entire Model Family is invited to attend the Graduation and Commencement ceremony on Friday, May 24, at the EKU Center for the Arts at 7:00 p.m. We look forward to celebrating and recognizing the Class of 2024 as they enter the next chapter of their lives.
Please remember students do not have school tomorrow, Friday, May 10. However, Model offices will remain open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Also, don't forget the last day of school is Thursday, May 23, with dismissal at 12:55 p.m.
Thank you for choosing Model for your child's education.
Sincerely,

John R. Williamson
Superintendent & Dean of P-12 Programs

We are extending thank you notes to Model faculty and staff until the last week of school!
Write a short thank-you note to one or more of Model's faculty and/or staff to have it delivered to them on the last day of school. Send your thanks or tell us the great things you notice our faculty and staff doing! To send a submission, go to this link on our website.
If there is a teacher in your life who always brightens your day or goes above and beyond to make sure you feel included, or, parents, if there is a staff member who makes your child feel special or is always there to help, we invite you to tell Model educators how much they mean to you.
